HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth football program has launched its "Dartmouth Football Connect" website, a professional platform that is exclusively for individuals with a connection to the college, whether it be as an alum, a student-athlete, a parent or friend of the program. The goal of the platform is to give Big Green football student-athletes and mentors an opportunity to engage with each other using career connections as the center of their relationship.
Dartmouth Football Connect helps Big Green football student-athletes from all walks of life access new opportunities with information on job and internship opportunities, plus achieve their career goals by making mentors and advisers accessible. Current football student-athletes and mentors can all create accounts.
The goal for mentors is to be a guide and resource who will share their Dartmouth education and professional experience to pave the way for current football athletes to succeed at Dartmouth and beyond. By joining the network, mentors will be able to connect with current and former Big Green football athletes and offer professional advice, set goals, support personal and professional development, model professional behavior, and challenge them to go beyond their comfort zone in order to achieve personal growth.
The platform will also provide a forum for posting questions and answers to various professional topics, informational interviews via video or meetings, and discussion boards to share knowledge more broadly.
