10 Dartmouth student-athletes earn academic regognition for the spring season.
HANOVER, N.H. – Ten Dartmouth student-athletes were selected for the Academic All-Ivy League Spring Team as announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.
To qualify for a spot on the league's top academic team, these student-athletes have made major contributions to their teams while maintaining at least a 3.0 grade point average. The Big Green's 10 honorees are listed below in alphabetical order.
Cara Cavanaugh, Sr.
Women's Rowing / North Andover, Mass. / Engineering
• 3.71 GPA
• All-Ivy League First Team
• Rowed in the V8 boat all year
• Helped Dartmouth finish sixth at the Ivy League Championship
Matt Feinstein, Sr.
Baseball / Old Brookville, N.Y. / Engineering
• 3.32 GPA
• All-Ivy League Second Team outfielder
• Led team in hits (54), runs (32), and total bases (88)
• Career .306 hitter in 150 games
Ben Martin, Jr.
Men's Lacrosse / Arlington, Va. / Engineering
• 3.45 GPA
• Assistant captain
• Led team in goals (27), assists (15) and points (42)
• Had the highest point total for a Big Green player in seven years
Elizabeth Mastrio, Sr.

• All-Ivy League Tournament Team
• Fourth on the team in goals (27) and draw controls (19)
Jack McGraw, Jr.

• 77.82 stroke average in 17 rounds
• Two time All-Ivy League golfer during career

• Three-time Ivy League champion in 100m hurdles
• Qualified for regionals for 100m hurdles
• Recipient of Class of 1948 Scholar-Athlete Award from Dartmouth College

Taylor Ward, Sr.
