Incoming Recruiting Class Announced

A total of 30 recruits and three walk-ons will join the team in the fall

HANOVER, N.H. — Buddy Teevens, the Robert L. Blackman Head Football Coach at Dartmouth College, announced his incoming recruits for the fall of 2019 with a total of 30 student-athletes. Among the recruits are five defensive backs, five defensive linemen, five offensive linemen, four quarterbacks, four wide receivers, two linebackers, two tight ends, two kickers and one running back.

The student-athletes will come from 16 different states with Florida boasting five student-athletes. Texas has four recruits, while New Jersey and Ohio each have three, and Connecticut, Illinois and Tennessee have two apiece. Other states represented in the class are Arizona, Colorado, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Washington and Wisconsin.

One of the recruits will be the third brother in his family to play for Coach Teevens at Dartmouth. Michael Flores arrives with his brother, sophomore John Paul Flores, already on the roster and the eldest brother, Jacob '16, who earned All-Ivy League honors twice at Dartmouth was a member of the Green Bay Packers practice squad in 2016. All three are offensive linemen and had another brother, Charlie, who played at Columbia on the offensive line.

In addition, the Big Green will welcome three walk-ons to the squad, two hailing from Florida and another from Georgia.

Dartmouth is coming off a 2018 season in which it went 9-1 overall and 6-1 in the Ivy League to finish in second, plus ended the year ranked 15th in the nation. The 2019 season will begin on Sept. 21 when the Big Green travel to Jacksonville to play the Dolphins of the Pioneer Football League.
