HANOVER, N.H. – For the second week in a row, Dartmouth volleyball's
Makenzie Arent was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week.
The Big Green dropped its matches to Hofstra (3-0), Hartford (3-0) and Fordham (3-1) at the annual Dartmouth Invitational this past weekend, playing at home for the first time in 2019.
Arent was first on the team in assists, picking up 81 of the team's 109 throughout the three matches. She also had 8.10 assists/set and had a team-leading 52 digs and 5.2 digs/set. She had an impressive 29 digs in the last match of the weekend against Fordham, which is a season-high. Arent also had her first double-doubles of the season (26 assists and 17 digs vs. Hofstra; 34 assists and 29 digs vs. Fordham).
Dartmouth will play in one final tournament this coming weekend, heading to Storrs, Connecticut, for the Dog Pound Challenge.
