March 21, 2015: Men's Lacrosse defeats No. 15 Harvard in double overtime
In a game that saw neither team lead by more than two goals at any point in the 66 minutes of play, the Dartmouth men's lacrosse team came out on top against No. 15 Harvard at Scully-Fahey Field. A goal by freshman Jack Korzelius with 2:21 remaining in the second overtime period lifted the Big Green over the Crimson, 12-11.
With Dartmouth up by two in the final three minutes of the fourth quarter, Harvard stormed back, getting within one goal a minute later before tying the game and sending it to overtime with just 14 ticks remaining. A key save by Harvard's Bryan Moore with a split second left in the first overtime kept Dartmouth from getting that pivotal 12th goal. With time running out in the second overtime period, leading goal scorer Korzelius netted his 10th of the season to end the game with a victory.

March 21, 2008: Baseball outlasts Army in wild game during spring break
After two innings, Dartmouth found itself trailing by a 5-0 count before putting seven runs on the board in the third. Army scoffed at the outburst with a nine-spot in the bottom half to open up a 14-7 advantage. But the Big Green continued to chip away, closing the gap to 15-13 entering the ninth.
Erik Bell '08, who had already homered twice and driven in four runs, led off the stanza with a a single for his fourth hit of the afternoon. Dartmouth proceeded to load the bases before junior Mike Pagliarulo was plunked to force in one run and freshman Jeff Onstott walked to force in the tying run. Freshman Jason Brooks drove in the go-ahead tally with a slow roller to short, and the Big Green tacked on three more on a Brett Gardner two-run pinch-single and a Jason Blydell sacrifice fly.
In the bottom half, senior Kyle Zeis retired two of the the first three batters, then ran into trouble that led to a three-run double, putting the tying run on second with two down. A walk and a passed ball made things especially precarious, but Zeis pumped a third strike past Army's two-hole hitter to finally end the wild affair.

March 21, 1942: Men's Basketball advances to the NCAA title game in rout of Kentucky
The Wildcats quickly proved to be no match for the mighty Dartmouth squad, led by All-American George Munroe '43. Head coach Ozzie Cowles guided the Big Green to a 10-point lead at the half, 23-13, with Munroe providing seven of those points, matching Kentucky junior Marvin Akers. But in the second stanza, Munroe took over, adding 14 points to his ledger to finish with a game-high 21 as Dartmouth outscored the Wildcats in the half by 10 points once again to put the finishing touches on the 48-28 triumph.
James Olsen '43, the Big Green's second-leading scorer on the season, chipped in 11 points while Robert Myers '43 added nine more in the rout. The victory sent Dartmouth to the title game against Stanford in Kansas City, Missouri, exactly one week later. Unfortunately, the Cardinal defeated the Big Green to claim the national championship, 53-38.
