Ivy League Announces Winter All-Ivy League Teams

HANOVER, N.H. – The Academic All-Ivy League teams for the winter teams were announced today by the league office.

Dartmouth had student-athletes from 10 Ivy League sponsored sports earn Academic All-Ivy distinction: men's and women's basketball, men's and women's ice hockey, men's and women's squash, men's and women's swimming & diving, and men's and women's indoor track & field.

Student-athletes must be in good academic standing to be eligible for the award.

Men's Basketball
Aaryn Rai | Senior | Markham, Ontario | Neuroscience | 3.56 GPA
- Started all 29 games as a junior and ranked sixth in the Ivy League in rebounding (6.4 per game).
- Averaged 11.2 points a game while reaching double digits in 20 of the 29 games.
- As a sophomore, he tallied a career-high 21 points with 12 rebounds against Princeton and, a week later, posted a career-best 14 rebounds.Â
Anna Luce  | Senior | Mercer Island, Wash. | Neuroscience | 3.47 GPA
- Played in 66 games during her first three years, was second on the team in scoring (9.1 ppg) and third in rebounding (4.3 rpg) as a junior.
- Team's most accurate 3-point shooter in 2019-20 at 38.0 percent (30-of-79) and second in blocks (17).
- Twice topped 20 points in a game, with a high of 22 at Brown as a sophomore.
Brendan Less | Senior | Kinnelon, N.J. | Economics | 3.47 GPA
- Defenseman who played in 86 games in three seasons, scoring twice while dishing out 14 assists.
- Posted a career-high nine points in his junior campaign in 2019-20 (1-8-9).
- Named an ACHA All-America Scholar as a freshman.
Jennifer Costa | Senior | Pawtucket, R.I. | Biology | 3.32 GPA
- Missed just two games during her three years in Hanover and had been chosen to be captain for her senior season.
- As a junior in 2019-20, she had career-highs in goals (4), assists (3) and points (7).
- Named a founding member of the College Hockey for Diversity Equity & Inclusion group.
Reg Anderson | Senior | Brookline, Mass. | Government | 3.56 GPA
- Won 19 games during his first three seasons, playing in the top three positions during his junior campaign.
- Earned victories over four opponents on teams ranked in the top 10 as a sophomore.
- Helped Dartmouth finish fifth in the nation as a rookie in 2017-18.
Emma MacTaggart | Junior | Greenwich, Conn. |  Psychology and Government | 3.81 GPA
- Competed in 29 of the 30 Big Green matches during her two years in Hanover.
- Thrust into the No. 2 slot as a freshman, earning sweeps against opponents from St. Lawrence and Amherst, plus taking home a five-set victory in the Kurtz Cup in a matchup against Brown.
- Moved primarily to No. 6 as a sophomore, recording six wins. She earned another five-set win over Brown at the Kurtz Cup to help Dartmouth advance to the finals.
Stas Van Genderen | Senior | Cape Coral, Fla. | Russian Area Studies | 3.51 GPA
- Competed in the 500 free, 1000 free and 1650 free at the 2020 Ivy League Championship.
- Swam personal best times in all three events.
- Recipient of the team's Tate Ramsden Coaches Award as a freshmanÂ
Katherine Cane | Senior  | Orinda, Calif. | Mathematics and Economics | 3.87 GPA
- Competed in the 50 free, 100 fly and 100 free at the 2020 Ivy League Championship.
- Swam best times in all three of those events.
- At the end of the season, she received the team's Lutkus Award for being an outstanding and consistent performer and for maintaining a high academic standing.
Max Frye | Senior | New Albany, Ohio. | Philosophy | 3.86 GPA
- 2019 Ivy League Outdoor champion in the 400m hurdles, earning a spot on the All-Ivy League First Team.
- Finished first five times during the 2019-20 indoor season across multiple events.
- Also earned All-Ivy League Second-Team honors as a freshman in the 400m hurdles.
Camille Landon | Senior. | Bozeman, Mont. | Linguistics | 3.77 GPA
- Team captain for the 2020-21 season.
- Finished third in the high jump at the 2020 Ivy League Indoor Heptagonal Championship Meet.
- Won the indoor high jump title at the 2019 New England Championship.
