HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth women's tennis saw its season come to an end on Sunday with a 4-2 loss to Brown.
Dartmouth (7-13, 1-6) at Brown (8-14, 2-5)
All three doubles matches were incredibly close. The Bears won on court one, 7-6(5), while
Lexi Dewire and
Emily Zhou followed that up with a 7-6(4) win at the No. 3 position.
Ashley Hess and
Chidimma Okpara came away victorious on court two, 7-6(5) to take a 1-0 lead into singles.
Elizabeth Fahrmeier added another point with her 6-4, 6-4 victory at the No. 4 position before Brown swept in to win on courts two, three, five and six to end the match. At the top spot, Okpara had won one set, her opponent had won the other and the two were locked at 3-3 when the match went unfinished.
