HANOVER, N.H. — The Ivy League announced its six-game package of football games that will be broadcast on ESPN linear networks this fall, and Dartmouth's conference opener against Penn at Memorial Field is among the contests included in the package. The game will be played on Friday, Sept. 30 at 7 p.m. and televised on ESPNU.
The Big Green have won six of the last seven meetings against the Quakers with an average margin of victory of 17 points in those six triumphs, including last year's 31-7 romp — also on ESPNU — at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. This matchup has been a popular one for networks with 10 of the last 13 clashes appearing on regional or national television.
Dartmouth, which earned a share of its conference-record 20th Ivy League title last year with a 6-1 record in the Ancient Eight and 9-1 overall mark, will be aiming to defeat Penn for the fifth straight season. The last time the Big Green won at least five straight meetings with the Quakers came between 1960-67 when they were victorious in eight consecutive years.
Eight of the other nine games on the Dartmouth schedule, including all six remaining Ivy League contests, will be streamed live on ESPN+ as well.

Notes: The Big Green appeared on national or regional television six times last year, tying for the most in a single season in program history … Dartmouth won five of those six contests, improving to 47-62-1 all-time in televised games.
