HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth had five student-athletes named to the At-Large Academic All-Ivy team, announced by the league office on Friday morning.
The group of five includes Claire Azar of equestrian, Boyd Bragg of sailing, Emily Henrich of women's rugby, Hannah Utter of women's skiing, and Cameron Wolfe of men's skiing.
Criteria for the honor includes that the student-athlete must be in good academic standing at the institution, must be a starter or key reserve on the roster and the student-athlete cannot be a first-year student-athlete.
A senior from Bethesda, Md., Azar was crucial for the Big Green in 2021-22 as she landed on the ECAC Equestrian All-Tournament Fence and Flat teams as well as earning a spot on the NCEA All-Academic First Team. She is majoring in government with a 3.49 GPA.
Hailing from Irvington, Va., Bragg is an English major with a 3.17 GPA. He was named a 2022 ICSA All-American Skipper and helped the Big Green to a fourth-place finish at the ICSA Open Dinghy National Championship. In 2020, Bragg was named the NEISA Rookie of the Year.
Henrich, a member of the Class of 2022 as a government major with a 3.93 GPA, is a two-time All-NIRA first-team selection and was tied for the team lead with 14 assists and second on the squad with nine tries. The 2019 MA Sorensen Award winner helped guide Dartmouth to two national titles, in 2018 and 2021.
A junior from Vail, Colo., Wolfe is an engineering major with a 3.81 GPA. He has scored in all 20 carnival races he has skied in, he is the 11th ranked Nordic skier in the East, and competed at the NCAA Championship while battling through illness to finish both races.
Utter, a fifth-year senior from Waitsfield, Vt., was a psychology major with 3.81 GPA. She was named All-America Second Team in the slalom this year and won two races, including the giant slalom at the EISA Championship. In July, Utter was announced as a nominee for the 2022 NCAA Woman of the Year Award.
