Big Green Soccer Teams are Represented this week
The fall 2022 season is off to an auspicious start with outstanding performances by members of the Big Green men's and women's soccer teams. Junior Aspen Anderson scored the game-winning goal in the season opener for the women. On the men's side Costi Christodoulou has two shutouts on the young season.
Their efforts are rewarded by being named The Richards Group Athletes of the week.

Aspen Anderson, Jr., Boulder, Colo., F/M, Women's Soccer
Junior Aspen Anderson of the Dartmouth women's soccer team has scored two goals through the first four games. Anderson scored the game-winning goal in the season-opening 2-0 win over Fordham before scoring her second of the season against Michigan State, ending the Spartans' streak of not allowing a goal through the first 442 minutes of the season.
Costi Christodoulou, So., Sandton, Gauten, South Africa, GK, Men's Soccer
Costi Christodoulou posted an eight-save shutout against Niagara in Dartmouth's 1-0 win on September 2. He followed up on September 5 with a second-straight clean sheet against Canisius and was named the Ivy League Player of the Week for his efforts over the weekend.
Christodoulou became the first Dartmouth men's goalkeeper to win Player of the Week honors since 2016 and is the first member of the Big Green to post back-to-back shutouts since 2018.
