HANOVER, N.H. — Dartmouth fifth-year senior Josh Greene was one of 10 Ivy Leaguers named to the Phil Steele FCS Mid-Season All-American teams.
The Big Green long snapper has been a mainstay on special teams over the past three seasons, performing his craft consistently and flawlessly, playing a large role in the Dartmouth punters not having a kick blocked in the last 24 consecutive games. The placekickers, meanwhile, have converted 70 percent of all field goals since he took over long snapping duties at the start of the 2021 campaign.
Prior to the start of the Big Green season this fall, Greene was one of 22 college football players from all levels to be named to the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team for his exemplary community impact.
The Phil Steele All-Ivy League First Team long snapper in 2022, Greene was also selected for the College Sports Communicators (CSC, formerly CoSIDA) Academic All-District I Team in both 2021 and 2022. A government major from Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, he has a 3.63 GPA and last year was the football team's recipient of the Manners Makyth Man Award, given to the Dartmouth player who has best conducted himself to the advantage of the college.
