SEASON OPENER
Dartmouth opens the 2023-24 season on Tuesday evening against Assumption at Thompson Arena. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.
The Big Green are opening the year with a non-conference game for the first time since the 2016-17 season and looking for their first season-opening win since a 2-1 victory over Harvard in the 2015-16 season.
LOOKING BACK TO LAST YEAR
The Big Green finished the 2022-23 year with an 8-21-0 overall record with a 4-18-0 record in ECAC Hockey play. Dartmouth picked up its first win of the year in a 2-0 victory on the road at Rensselaer on Nov. 4. They went 4-3 in non-conference play, claiming victories over Post, Saint Anselm, Merrimack and Stonehill.
The Big Green defeated No. 10 Cornell, 5-1, on the road at Lynah Rink in late January for their first win over a ranked opponent since 2015.
Dartmouth ended the year on a high note, defeating Brown by a score of 2-1 in the season finale.

A LOOK AT THE RETURNERS
Jenna Donohue and Fuoco both finished with 14 points a season ago. Donohue tallied eight goals and six assists while Fuoco had six goals and eight assists.
Messier and Robinson both registered eight points.
CLASS OF 2027
The Big Green added eight freshmen ahead of the new season. Joining the women's hockey program are

Sydney Vandenberg.
SCOUTING ASSUMPTION
In its first year of competition, Assumption enters Tuesday's contest with a 0-2-0 overall record. The Greyhounds fell to RIT, 3-2 and 5-1, in their first two games during opening weekend at the end of September.
Jenna Chaplain has two goals for Assumption while Sheridan Terrazzano has one. Rachel Agerter, Alexa Hanrahan, Cassandra Johnson and Caroline Lilley each have one assist.
Carissa Mudrak and Jadyn Weiser have split time between the pipes this season. Mudrak made 38 saves in the program's first-ever game and Weiser made 27 saves the following night.

Dartmouth hosts Harvard for its first ECAC Hockey and Ivy League game of the year on Friday evening at Thompson Arena.
