HANOVER, N.H. — Five student-athletes from the Dartmouth women's track and field team received All-Ivy recognition, as announced by the Ivy League on Tuesday afternoon.
Annie Jackson,
Anya Hirschfeld,
Bella Pietrasiewicz, and
Julia Fenerty were named to the first team after winning the 4x800m relay on Sunday at the 2023 Ivy League Heptagonal Indoor Championships. The group finished with a time of 8:46.02 to claim the top spot, just the second time that Dartmouth has won the 4x800m relay at the Ivy Indoor Championships.
Earlier in the day, Fenerty finished second in the mile to earn a spot on the All-Ivy second team. The senior finished the race in 4:46.39 to earn the Big Green eight points in the standings.
Emma Cunningham was named to the Academic All-Ivy team. Academic All-Ivy designation is given to student-athletes who made significant contributions to their respective teams while maintaining good academic standing. Cunningham, a quantitative social science major, claimed two podium finishes at the Ivy League Championships, finishing fifth in the long jump and sixth in the triple jump.
