HANOVER, N.H. — The Dartmouth football team announced its incoming recruits for the fall of 2023 with a total of 27 student-athletes. Among the recruits are five offensive linemen, four defensive backs, three linebackers, three defensive linemen, three wide receivers, two quarterbacks, two running backs, two kickers, a tight end, an athlete and a long snapper.
The student-athletes come from 15 different states and one foreign country — Nigeria. Tennessee and Texas feature the most recruits with three student-athletes, while Connecticut, Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, New York, North Carolina and South Carolina each have two. The states with one apiece are Alabama, Florida, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wyoming, as does Nigeria.
Dartmouth football has won 20 Ivy League titles, more than any other team in the Ancient Eight, three of which have come in the past seven campaigns. The 2023 season is scheduled to begin on Sept. 16 with the Granite Bowl at the University of New Hampshire featuring the only two Division I teams in the state.
