HANOVER, N.H. — Liz Keady Norton, Dartmouth's women's ice hockey head coach, has been named the head coach for USA Hockey's Under-18 Women's National Team. Keady Norton will lead the team into the 2024 International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) Women's U18 World Championship this upcoming January in Switzerland.
Keady Norton served as an assistant coach for the U.S. Under-18 Women's National Team at the 2023 IIHF Women's U18 World Championship. She helped lead the program to its 15
th-straight medal at the event, as Team USA defeated Finland in the bronze medal game.
"I am grateful for the opportunity and privilege of leading this tremendous group," Keady Norton said. "I feel fortunate to work with and have the opportunity to learn from some of the best coaches and players in the country."
Keady Norton wrapped up her second season at the helm of Big Green women's hockey in 2022-23. She led Dartmouth to its first win over a ranked opponent on the road since 2015 on January, 28 against then-No. 10 Cornell. In 2021-22, Keady Norton led Dartmouth to its highest win total since 2014-15.
