Volleyball and men's soccer are in the spotlight this week
Women's volleyball kicked off the home season with an invitational tournament. Sophomore Ava Roberts led the team to a 2-1 record overall. Junior Ben Jenkins scored the gamewinner for the men's soccer team with a goal in the first half against Holy Cross.
Their efforts are rewarded by being named The Richards Group Athletes of the week.

Ben Jenkins, Jr., Newburyport, Mass., M, Men's Soccer
Ben Jenkins helped lead the Dartmouth men's soccer team to its first victory of the 2023 season on Saturday, Sept. 9 against Holy Cross. The junior unleashed a perfect shot from the top of the 18-yard box, which beat the goalkeeper in the first half.
Jenkins goal served as the game winner, leading the Big Green to their first home-opening win since 2019.
Ava Roberts, So., Mansfield, Texas, MB/RS, Women's Volleyball
Ava Roberts helped the Big Green to a 2-1 record during the Dartmouth Invitational, which featured a come-from-behind win over Seton Hall in front of an energetic crowd on Friday evening. The sophomore filled the stat sheet with 28 total points across three matches, including a career-high five aces in a 3-0 win over Stonehill. Roberts also helped pace Dartmouth's defensive efforts with 25 digs throughout the weekend.
