The Richards Group - Athletes of the Week - Annie Henrich and Ejike Adele

HANOVER, N.H. — Ejike Adele of football and Annie Henrich of rugby have been named The Richards Group Athletes of the Week following tremendous performances which led to Big Green victories.
Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes – one male, one female – as Athletes of the Week.
Ejike Adele, Sr., Atlanta, Ga., Football
Adele was stellar in the Big Green's 24-21 win at Columbia. He finished with career highs in tackles (9), tackles-for-loss (3.5) and sacks (2) in a dominant performance. He was part of a Dartmouth defense that held the Lions scoreless for the game's first 43:20 and to just seven points over the first 57:55. The Big Green performance came against a Lions' team that was averaging 32.5 points per game at home this season.

Annie Henrich, Fy., Orchard Park, N.Y., Rugby
Henrich tallied 11 points on Saturday with a try and three conversions in a 31-15 win over Quinnipiac. Henrich opened the scoring for the Big Green with her fifth try of the season and hit the conversion to give Dartmouth a 7-0 lead. She went on to hit two more conversions on the day. This season she leads Dartmouth with 65 points with five tries, 17 conversions, and two penalty kicks.
