Dartmouth Authentic Store Now Open in Downtown Hanover

HANOVER, N.H. — Earlier this fall, Dartmouth Athletics announced the expansion of its longstanding partnership with Follett with the opening of a team store, Dartmouth Authentic, at 24 South Main St. in Hanover. With the brick-and-mortar store now open, Follett will also sell Dartmouth Athletics' merchandise at Dartmouth athletic events.
The store hours are as follows:
Monday - Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Sunday: CLOSED
"The creation of Dartmouth Authentic is a direct result of listening to our enthusiastic and loyal alumni, friends, students, and fans," says Mike Harrity, Haldeman Family Director of Athletics and Recreation. "As we pursue excellence in Dartmouth Athletics, providing this opportunity for passionate Big Green fans to wear the same Nike sideline gear as our coaches and select jerseys from their favorite sports is a game changer. We are excited to team with Follett to elevate our partnership and bring this exciting in-person retail experience to downtown Hanover."
Dartmouth Athletics has had a relationship with Follett, which has been the exclusive online retail partner of the athletics department, for more than 10 years.
The team store on Main Street, online, and game day offerings will provide a wide range of products, including exclusive Dartmouth Athletics clothing and merchandise — including Dartmouth's sideline apparel offered by Nike. The store, independently operated by Follett, will enhance the availability of Dartmouth Athletics merchandise, both in person and online. Follett's managing of merchandise sales at athletic events marks a significant game day enhancement for Dartmouth Athletics, says Harrity.

The opening of Dartmouth Authentic is the latest in a number of Dartmouth investments in downtown Hanover. Dartmouth has announced strategic investments in housing that, when completed, are expected to open up housing options for the Upper Valley community. The institution has also begun work on a decarbonization program that will replace Dartmouth's aging fossil-fuel-powered steam-heating plant with an electricity-driven, low-carbon energy system, building a greener future for the campus and the wider region.
