HANOVER, N.H. — Ten members of the Dartmouth equestrian team were recognized by the National Collegiate Equestrian Association on Wednesday with academic honors. Leading the way were three of the 10 honorees who were named to the APHA NCEA All-Academic First Team, all seniors:
Rachel Freer,
Margot Luria and
Abby Niles.

To be named to the first team, student-athletes must have competed in a minimum of 70 percent of the school's meets, not including demo or exhibition rides, while earning a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher.

Ten Big Green were named to the NCEA Academic Honor Roll for garnering a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher while maintaining full-time enrollment in the previous spring and fall, respectively. For the complete list of Dartmouth's 10 honorees, please see below.

The Big Green are preparing for their first-ever NCEA Nationals next week, which is set for Apr. 18-20 in Ocala, Florida. Third-seeded Dartmouth will face second-seeded Sweet Briar in the semifinals.
