HANOVER, N.H. — The women's golf team won an Ivy League Championship while the men's lightweight varsity eight team defeated Yale to capture the Durand Cup for the first time since 2012.
Their efforts are rewarded by being named The Richards Group Athletes of the Week.

Katherine Sung, Sr., Palo Alto, Calif., Women's Golf
Sophie Thai, So., Los Altos, Calif., Women's Golf
Katherine Sung and Sophie Thai tied for second overall at the Ivy League Championship as the Big Green's top finishers. They each shot 6-over-222 for the tournament, with Sung and Thai each shooting 1-over-73 in Friday's opening round. Their efforts helped Dartmouth capture its first-ever Ivy League women's golf championship.
Men's Lightweight Varsity Eight
The men's lightweight varsity eight won the Durand Cup for the first time since 2012 by beating Yale in the varsity eight. The crew finished with a time of 5:37.7, just over two seconds better than the Bulldogs' time of 5:40.0. The Big Green varsity eight entered the race ranked 10th nationally, with Yale coming in at No. 8.
