HANOVER, N.H. — Phil Steele came out with its preseason awards on Friday, with the Dartmouth football team earning 11 preseason All-Ivy League nods. That features nine student-athletes recognized, with Sean Williams named first team as both a punt returner and all-purpose.

Eight of the student-athletes honored were named All-Ivy following last season.

The Big Green's first-team honorees on offense were wide receiver Paxton Scott and offensive lineman Delby Lemieux. Scott finished last season with 51 receptions for 630 yards, both good for fifth in the league. Lemieux played in eight games and started seven as an anchor on the offensive line. Fellow offensive lineman Kyle Brown, who started every game last season, was named to Phil Steele's preseason All-Ivy second team.
Josiah Green and Braden Mullen were named to Phil Steele's first team defense. Green led the Big Green defensive linemen with 46 tackles, 7.5 for a loss, and 1.5 sacks. Mullen finished last season fourth in the Ivy League with 5.5 sacks, despite missing the entire second half of the season with an injury. Danny Cronin earned a spot on the second team after posting 55 tackles (which was tied for second on the team), five for a loss, one sack and one interception last season. Jordan Washington was also a second-team honoree; he led the Big Green in pass breakups last season (9) and was recognized by FCS Football Central and Phil Steele on their All-Ivy teams following the 2023 season.
Place kicker Owen Zalc, who was recently named a preseason third team All-American by Stats Perform, was named the Ivy League's first-team punter. Williams was named to Phil Steele's first team as a punt returner, all-purpose, and second team as a defensive back. Williams finished last season second on the Big Green with 55 tackles and second in the Ivy League with four interceptions.
