DURHAM, N.H. — New Hampshire outscored the Dartmouth women's basketball team, 44-15 in the second half to turn a seven-point game into a 74-38 final as the Wildcats ended the Big Green's five-game winning streak.
Cate MacDonald led the Dartmouth offense with 14 points.
MacDonald scored 11 of her points in the first half, helping the Big Green hang within 30-23 at the half. Eva DeChent led the Wildcats with 22 points.
With the loss, Dartmouth falls to 8-3 while UNH improves to 5-7.

FIRST QUARTER:
- After trading baskets early on, UNH scored six straight points to open a 10-4 first-quarter lead.
- The Big Green ended the quarter with four straight points, behind two MacDonald free throws and an Alexandra Eldredge pullup jumper, to pull within 12-10.
SECOND QUARTER:
- An Olivia Austin basket made it six straight points, evening the score at 12.
- The Wildcats responded with a 7-0 run to take a 19-12 lead after a DeChent layup.
- A few minutes later, MacDonald scored five straight points to trim an eight-point deficit down to three at 23-20 with 3:36 on the clock.
- But UNH scored seven of the final 10 points of the half to take a 30-23 halftime lead.
THIRD QUARTER:
- Zeynep Ozel led Dartmouth with four points in the quarter.
- After each scoring four points to begin the third quarter, the Wildcats scored 19 of the final 25 points of the stanza to take a 53-33 lead into the fourth.
FOURTH QUARTER:
- The Wildcats scored the first seven points of the fourth, extending their run to 12-0 bridging the end of the third quarter, and taking a 60-33 lead with 8:02 on the clock.
- The margin continued to grow from there, reaching 38 at 74-36 before a tough layup by Jacalyn Myrthil pulled the Big Green within 74-38 at the final horn.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- For the game, Dartmouth shot 22.6% from the floor (14-of-62), including 16.0% from 3-point range (4-of-25).
- New Hampshire finished at 50.8% (31-of-61) and 26.7% from behind the arc (4-of-15).
- The Wildcats held a 46-38 edge in rebounds, but the Big Green held a 14-8 advantage in offensive boards.
