Cong and Stavroff Named The Richard's Group Athletes of the Week

HANOVER, N.H.—Dartmouth women's golfer Olivia Cong and Hayden Stavroff of Dartmouth men's hockey have been named The Richards Group Athletes of the Week.

Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes, one male, one female – as Athletes of the Week.

Olivia Cong, Fy., Germantown, Md. – Women's Golf

Olivia Cong had a stellar performance this past weekend at the Columbia Classic, finishing the three round tournament shooting a 213 (-3) to earn her a second-place overall finish. Cong shot a 69 (-3) in the first round, a 76 (+4) in the second round, and a 68 (-4) in the third round, bumping her two spots on the final day of competition. She scored ten birdies across the three rounds.

Hayden Stavroff, Fy., Columbus, OH – Men's Ice Hockey

Hayden Stavroff tallied his first career three point game against Harvard on Friday. He opened the scoring for the Big Green in the second period for his eighth goal of the season. He then notched his second point of the game with an assist on the second Big Green goal. The Columbus native scored his ninth goal of the season late in the second period to give Dartmouth a 3-0 lead. The first year has nine goals and eight assists this season.
