Wilson and Nikora Named The Richards Group Athletes of the Week

HANOVER, N.H.—Dartmouth softball player Cwen Wilson and Dartmouth men's hockey player Nikita Nikora have been named The Richards Group Athletes of the Week following strong performances on the field and rink.
Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes, one male, one female – as Athletes of the Week.
Cwen Wilson, Sophomore, Paradise Valley, Ariz., Infielder, Softball
Wilson went 5-11 for the Big Green over the weekend for a .455 batting average, as the team went 3-2 at the ETSU Invitational. She recorded four RBIs and knocked her first home run of the season. Wilson had a .818 slugging percentage over the four games she played in. She also added two stolen bases to her stat line.
Nikita Nikora, Sophomore, Saint Petersburg, Russia, Forward, Men's Hockey
Nikora played a huge part in the Big Green's sweep of No. 4 Union in the ECAC Quarterfinals. The sophomore notched a goal and three assists in the series while being named ECAC Forward of the Week. This season, he has notched four goals and 26 assists. He enters the ECAC Semifinals on a three-game point streak while having six points in the three games.
