
Erb and Brown Earn The Richards Group Athlete of the Week Honors

HANOVER, N.H.—Dartmouth women's lacrosse player Catherine Erb and Dartmouth baseball player Ethan Brown are this weeks The Richards Group Athletes of the Week.
Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes, one male, one female – as Athletes of the Week.
Catherine Erb, Junior, Shoreham, N.Y., Women's Lacrosse
Catherine Erb scored five goals during Dartmouth's home game against Cornell last Saturday. She tied her career-high in single-game goals, the other instance being against Columbia in her freshman season. Erb finished her sophomore season with a career-high 34 goals and is currently tied for the team high in goals with 21 through 10 games.
Ethan Brown, So., Waukesha, Wis., Baseball
Brown was electric at the plate this weekend, batting .500 (5-for-10) with four RBI, three runs scored, and one walk.
In Friday's 8-7 win over Penn, the Big Green's first win of the season, Brown led the way offensively, hitting 3-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored. He doubled to give the Big Green the lead early and later hit a solo home run.
In the second game of the doubleheader, Brown went 1-for-3 with one RBI and one run scored. His home run in the 5-2 victory proved to be the winning run for the Big Green. All four of Brown's hits on Friday were for extra bases, two home runs and two doubles.
He went 1-for-3 with a walk in Dartmouth and Penn's series finale. Brown now leads the team in all major offensive categories: batting average (.368), OPS (1.061), runs (11), hits (21), doubles (6), home runs (3), and RBI (8).
