The Big Green concluded racing in the Round of 8 Saturday, posting an overall 12-10 record to finish the 2025 Inter-collegiate Sailing Association Open Team Race Nationals in seventh place.
Dartmouth began racing in the Round of 8 Friday, sailing against Yale and Brown and posting a 1-1 record. The Big Green raced against Harvard, Roger Williams, Stanford, Tulane, and Boston College on Saturday, concluding their racing with a 2-5 record.
The Big Green fell to Harvard, Roger Williams, Stanford, and Boston College, collecting mostly third, fourth, fifth, and sixth finishing positions in the four races. They did collect the first place finishing position against the Roger Williams Hawks, but were not able to secure the win.
Dartmouth's lone win of Saturday and second win in the Round of 8 came against Tulane. The Big Green earned first, second, and sixth place finishing positions to secure the win and defeat Tulane in both races of the championship.
Harvard earned the win, posting a 20-5 record, followed by Yale (19-6), Roger Williams (18-7), and Stanford (14-11) in the top four.
While the Open Team Race National Championship has concluded, the Big Green will now shift their focus to the Women's Team Race National Championship set to begin on Sunday, April 28 and conclude on Monday, April 29.
The Big Green will also be sailing for the Ivy League Championship, as the top Ivy League finisher in the ICSA Women's Team Race National Championship will be crowned the Ivy League Champion.
