
CSC Announces Academic All-District At Large Teams

GREENWOOD, Ind.—College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced its Academic At-Large All-District team. Dartmouth landed 12 student-athletes on the team: six females and six males.
In order to eligible for the CSC All-District team student-athletes be at least a sophomore and have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average. Each sport has different eligibility standards based on competition that can be found here.
Luke Allan | Men's Nordic Skiing | Economics
Allan raced in every EISA Carnival this season, earning podium finishes in ten of his 12 races. Five of those finishes were wins, as he was recognized as the EISA Freestyle leader at the conclusion of the circuit. Allan earned All-American status in both NCAA Championship races this season thanks to a fourth-place finish in the 7.5K Classic and sixth place in the 20K Freestyle race.
Tyler Brand | Men's Golf | Economics
Brand played in 11 matches this season and recorded three first place finishes throughout. His first-place finishes came at the Columbia Autumn Invitational where he shot a -17, the Columbia Spring Invitational with a -1 and the ROAR-EE Invitational after shooting a -6. Brand's top finish at the Columbia Autumn Invitational broke the tournament record and secured a nine-stroke victory over the second-place individual. At the Ivy League Championships, Brand finished tied for 18th and was named First Team All-Ivy.
Lucia Campano | Field Hockey | Economics
Campano was a top player for the Big Green on the field as she was tied for second on the team with nine points. She was tied for the team lead with four goals while adding one assist. Her 30 shots and 19 shots on goal lead the team. Following the season, she was named an All-Ivy Honorable mention while also earning NFHCA Division I Scholar of Distinction honors.
Katina Christensen | Women's Lacrosse | Quantitative Social Sciences
Christensen surpassed 100 career goals during the 2025 season, ending her Dartmouth career with 126 goals and 159 points. She is tied for sixth in program history for all-time goals and is the first addition to the top 20 all-time goals list since 2019. For the past two seasons, Christensen has been given Academic All-Ivy and Honorable Mention recognition.
John Steel Hagenbuch | Men's Nordic Skiing | Government
Hagenbuch competed at five of the six EISA Carnivals, winning eight of the ten races he participated in. In addition to being named the EISA Classic leader, Hagenbuch was named to the All-East First team for the second time. Hagenbuch also won an individual national championship for the second straight year, this time taking home the 7.5K Classic title as well as finishing second in the 20K mass start, earning two First-Team All-American honors.
Emma Hochberg | Women's Rowing | Neuroscience
Hochberg was a key member of the second varsity eight boat that finished 16th in the nation at the NCAA Championship. An Academic All-Ivy League honoree last season, Hochberg helped the Big Green finish fourth in team points at the Ivy League Championship and advance to NCAAs for the first time since 2011.
Cam MacDonald | Men's Hockey | Computer Science
MacDonald had a breakout season for the Big Green as he skated in a career high 33 games while scoring six goals and adding 10 assists. The Surrey, B.C. native had four multipoint games while also blocking 13 shots. He was named Academic All-Ivy honors while also being named the recipient of the Smoyer Award which is given to the 'Unsung Hero'.
Griffin O'Neil | Men's Lacrosse | History
A two-time Academic All-Ivy honoree, O'Neil started all 13 games as a senior and posted 25 groundballs with 14 caused turnovers, helping the Big Green to an 8-5 record — marking their most wins since 2006. O'Neil also started all 13 games as a junior, posting 33 groundballs and 17 caused turnovers.
Sophie Thai | Women's Golf | Government
Thai golfed in seven tournaments as a junior, starting the season just outside the top ten with back-to-back 11th place finishes. Her best individual finish of the season was fourth at the More Than Golf Invitational after posting a -2 with 14 birdies over three rounds. She led the team with 53 total birdies and was also named women's golf's Academic All-Ivy honoree.
Ava Thurston | Women's Nordic Skiing | Psychology
Thurston competed in every carnival as a junior for the Big Green, finishing on the podium in all but two races. She won five total races, the Bates 15K Freestyle, Dartmouth 7.5K Freestyle, Middlebury Freestyle Spring, St. Michael's 3x5 Classic Relay, and the Middlebury 10K Classic, helping to name her the EISA Freestyle point leader. Thurston was also a two time All-American at this year's national championship thanks to seventh and fourth place finishes.
Steven Townley | Men's Hockey | Government
Townley closed out his Dartmouth career by skating in all 33 games for the Big Green while scoring four goals and adding four assists. Off the ice he was named one of five finalists nationally for the Derek Hine Unsung Hero Award. He was named Sportsman of the Year and was awarded the McInnis Award. He skated in 119 career games for his hometown team and served as a captain as a senior.
Zoe Zimmermann | Women's Alpine | Government
Zimmermann raced in all six EISA Carnivals, finishing in the top 20 in every Giant Slalom race. She won her first career EISA race on the St. Lawrence slalom. Zimmermann was a two time All-American at the 2025 National Championship, taking home second team for eighth place on the giant slalom and first team for fifth on the slalom.
