HANOVER, N.H. — As preseason recognition continues to pour in, a number of Dartmouth football student-athletes were recognized by Phil Steele, highlighted by a nation's leading three first team All-Americans. Tight end Chris Corbo earned that distinction, along with offensive lineman Delby Lemieux and kicker Owen Zalc. As a group, the Big Green also had eight All-Ivy honors, with Sean Williams earning first team as a punt returner and second team as a defensive back.

The honors keep coming in for Corbo, Lemieux and Zalc, who were also named All-Americans by Stats Perform. Corbo and Lemieux were on the first team, with Zalc named to the second team.

Corbo was named a first team All-American by the AFCA and Walter Camp following last season when he led the Big Green with seven touchdowns — the most by a Dartmouth player since 2019. Corbo was also named to the East-West Shrine Bowl 1000, the watch list for the prestigious All-Star game in Frisco, Texas. Lemieux was an AP honorable mention All-American and second team All-American by FCS Football Central. As an anchor of the offensive line, the Big Green finished top 20 nationally in fewest sacks allowed while finishing third in the Ivy League in rushing offense (166.5 yards per game). Meanwhile, the reigning Ivy League Special Teams Player of the Year, Zalc finished the 2024 season 13-of-17 on field goals, with impressive range. Zalc knocked through a program-record 54-yard field goal against Harvard.
