HANOVER, N.H. – Check out all the Big Green teams in action this week!
Men's Soccer – Tuesday, September 2
Following a 1-1 draw with New Haven last week, the Big Green continue nonconference play at Burnham Field against the Bryant Bulldogs. Last time out, Vasilis Moiras scored the Big Green's lone goal on a penalty kick while Konstantinos Dellas made five saves in net. Dartmouth is 1-1 all time against the Bulldogs, winning last year's matchup 2-1. Tuesday's game will be Fan Appreciation and free food will be available while supplies last. Women's Soccer - Thursday, September 4 and Sunday, September 7
The Big Green will head out west for two games in California, with the first being against San Francisco at 9 p.m. EST (6 p.m. local time). This marks the teams' first meeting in program history. On Sunday, the Big Green will face off against Santa Clara at 4 p.m. EST (1 p.m. local time), their first meeting since 2001. Field Hockey – Friday, September 5
Field Hockey takes the pitch for the first time of 2025 against Bryant on Friday, Sept. 5. The Big welcome six newcomers in 2025 while returning 18 players from a season ago. 2024 leading scorer Riley Dumigan returns for her junior year while All-Ivy honorees Olivia Galiotos and Lucia Campano also return. Dartmouth has defeated Bryant six straight times dating back to the 2014 season. The game will be broadcasted on AmericaEast.tv.
Men's and Women's Cross Country - Friday, September 5
The Dartmouth men's and women's cross-country teams will open the 2025 season on Friday at the Friar Invitational, hosted by Providence College, in Attleboro, Mass. The meet is scheduled to begin at 3:15 p.m.
Volleyball – Friday, September 5, Saturday, September 6, Sunday, September 7
Dartmouth volleyball opens its season with a trio of matches at the Sacred Heart Invitational in Fairfield, Conn. The Big Green opens the weekend against Big Ten foe Rutgers on Friday before taking on LIU on Saturday. Dartmouth closes the weekend by taking on the hosts in Sacred Heart. All three matches are slated to start at 3 PM and can be watched on ESPN+.
Women's Rugby – Saturday, September 6
The Big Green will begin a stretch of three straight road games Saturday, heading to Navy for an 11 a.m. game. Dartmouth is coming off a 59-0 win in its season opener over Quinnipiac, thanks to four tries from first-year Marley Larkin. Annie Henrich also shined, collecting one try of her own and making seven conversions. This will be the first matchup in program history between the Big Green and the Midshipmen. Open and Women's Sailing – Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7
The sailing season kicks off this weekend as the Big Green travel to three regattas, the Bears Invite, Harry Anderson Trophy, and the Toni Deutsch Trophy. Dartmouth competed at the Harry Anderson and Toni Deutsch Trophies to open its season last year, finishing in fourth at Yale and winning the regatta at MIT.
Men's Golf – Monday, September 8 and Tuesday, September 9
Men's golf starts its fall schedule at The Metropolis Intercollegiate hosted by Columbia at Metropolis Country Club. The tournament is a 54 hole tournament with competition starting on Monday, Sept. 8 with a pair of rounds starting at 8:45 AM. Luke Harper and Benjamin Wang join the team as first-years while six student-athletes return including Tyler Brand who recorded three first place finishes.
Women's Golf – Monday, September 8 and Tuesday, September 9
Women's golf travels to Statesboro, Ga. to compete in The Southern hosted at Forest Heights Country Club by Georgia Southern. The two-day event starts on Monday, Sept. 8 with the final round being played on Tuesday, Sept. 9. The Big Green will be the lone Ivy League program in the tournament. Dartmouth added two first-years ahead of the 2025-26 season while eight players return from last season.
