HANOVER, N.H.  — Tight end
Chris Corbo and offensive lineman
Delby Lemieux have garnered yet another postseason All-America recognition as they've been named first and second team All-Americans by Phil Steele, respectively. For Corbo, it's his fourth All-America honor, all as a member of the first team. Lemieux was also named Phil Steele's Ivy League Offensive Player of the Year and Offensive Lineman of the Year. In addition, 17 Big Green student-athletes were named All-Ivy by Phil Steele.
Â
Corbo was previously recognized by the Associated Press, Stats Perform and the AFCA. Lemieux's All-America honor is his third, being named to the first team by the AP and third team by Stats Perform.
Â
Corbo posted career highs in receptions (45) and yards (516) as a senior, finishing as the team leader in receptions and second in yards. His four receiving touchdowns led the Big Green as well, giving him 11 across his junior and senior seasons, with scores coming against Central Connecticut State, Columbia, Princeton and Brown. Corbo tallied at least two catches in every game, with five or more on five occasions.
Lemieiux was a key part of an offensive line that paved the way for running back
D.J. Crowther his first year as starter; the Big Green finished third in the Ivy League in rushing offense (163.3). Both quarterback
Grayson Saunier and Crowther reached the end zone double-figure times, the first Dartmouth duo to do so since 1996. The Big Green stand fifth in the country in fewest sacks allowed per game (0.80). Lemieux is now a three-time All-Ivy honoree, garnering honorable mention as a sophomore then first team each of the last two years.
