HANOVER, N.H. – Check out all the Big Green teams in action this week!
Skiing – Thursday, January 22, Friday, January 23, and Saturday, January 24
The Dartmouth ski teams will be back in action this weekend as the alpine team will wrap the St. Lawrence Carnival while the Nordic team will conclude the Colby Carnival. The Big Green sit in first place overall at both carnivals as the Nordic team posted 420 points at the St. Lawrence Carnival two weeks ago while the alpine team scored 456 points to open the Colby Carnival last weekend.
Racing will begin with the giant slalom at St. Lawrence on Thursday, January 22, followed by the slalom on Friday, January 23 to conclude the first carnival of the EISA season. Nordic competition will start with the 7.5K Classic race in Maine on Friday, January 23 before the Colby Carnival concludes with the 20K Freestyle on Saturday, January 24. Men's Hockey – Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24
No. 10 Dartmouth men's hockey hits the road for a trip to Central New York. The Big Green take on No. 12 Cornell on Friday night before taking on Colgate on Saturday night. Dartmouth is coming off a five point weekend with a tie and shootout win over Clarkson and a 4-0 shutout win over St. Lawrence on Saturday night. Dartmouth's Hayden Stavroff is tied for the nation lead in goals as he scored his 19th and 20th goals of the season on Saturday against St. Lawrence. As a team, Dartmouth is second in the country in scoring margin at 1.95, third in scoring defense at 2.00 and fourth in scoring offense at 3.95.
Women's Hockey – Friday, January 23 and Saturday, January 24
The Big Green return home to Thompson Arena this weekend, wrapping the regular season series against the No. 11 Clarkson Golden Knights and the St. Lawrence Saints. Dartmouth is coming off losses to No. 6 Quinnipiac and No. 9 Princeton last weekend in its first meetings against the Bobcats and the Tigers this season.
Dartmouth had strong outings on the road against the Golden Knights and Saints earlier this season, earning a 3-0 win over Clarkson and scoring in the third period to force overtime against St. Lawrence. Puck drop on Friday against Clarkson is set for 6 p.m. and will feature a Kids Club Carnival on the concourse. Saturday's game against the Saints will begin at 3 p.m. and fans will have the opportunity for autographs with the team postgame.
Men's Squash – Friday, January 23, Saturday, January 24, and Sunday, January 25
After going 2-1 last weekend including a pair of 7-2 wins over Amherst and Cornell the Big Green head to New York City for the CSA Individual Championships. First-Year's Gurshan Jolly, Arihant Kalamangalan Sunil, and Wei Yan Tho will compete for the Big Green. The 64 person tournament starts on Friday with the semifinals and championship being on Monday, Jan. 26 and Tuesday, Jan 27.
Women's Squash – Friday, January 23, Saturday, January 24, and Sunday, January 25
The Big Green notched a 5-4 win over Columbia on Sunday to close out the weekend. Dartmouth is 4-4 this season and will send Xiang Xiang Liu to the CSA Individual Championships. This season she has a 5-3 record in the second position for the Big Green. The round of 64 starts on Friday, January 23 with the championship being on Tuesday, January 27.
Women's Tennis – Friday, January 23 and Sunday, January 25
Coming off a 5-2 win over Army in its spring season opener, Dartmouth women's tennis remains at home to host Boston College and Fordham at Boss Tennis Center. The Big Green won two of their three doubles matches against the Black Knights and three singles matches, clinching the match win on Caroline Lemcke's 6-1, 6-3 victory. Men's Basketball – Saturday, January 24
The Dartmouth men's basketball team has one game left in its homestand following a 71-69 victory over Princeton on Monday, which saw an outstanding performance by Kareem Thomas highlighted by the game winning shot with just three seconds left on the clock. The Big Green will host Columbia for Youth Cheer Day on Saturday at 2 p.m, where there will be a pre-game cheer clinic, halftime cheer performance and post-game autographs with the cheer squad. Following a highly successful Dartmouth-Yale-Columbia meet, which saw Jada Jones break the indoor 60m program record, the Dartmouth men's and women's track and field teams will head down to Cambridge, Mass., for the Gordon Kelly Invitational, hosted by MIT, on Saturday.
Women's Basketball – Saturday, January 24
The Dartmouth women's basketball team continues its three-game road swing on Saturday for a 2 p.m. matchup at Columbia. The Big Green stand 0-4 in the Ivy League following a 67-59 loss at Penn on Monday in a back-and-forth battle that came down to the wire. Alexandra Eldredge tied a career high with 16 points in the defeat.

Dartmouth men's tennis will continue its home schedule when it hosts Fairfield at Boss Tennis Center on Sunday at 2 p.m. The Big Green are coming off two wins over Bryant to open their season.
