PRINCETON, N.J. – On Tuesday, the Ivy League announced its all-Ivy honorees, recognizing junior
Nina Minicozzi as the Big Green's Academic All-Ivy honoree. This is Minicozzi's second academic award, after being named to the CSC Academic All-District team in 2025.
Student-athletes must be juniors or seniors and excel on both the court and in the classroom to earn the recognition.
Minicozzi, an economics major, was an important piece off the bench for the Big Green, playing in all but two games and averaging 21.8 minutes. She shot 37.7% from the field and 31.5% from behind the arch, attempting the third most amount of threes on the team. Minicozzi was also 88.5% from the line, leading the Big Green.
She averaged 6.8 points per game to rank top-five on the team, also averaging 2.8 rebounds per game.
On the defensive side of the ball, Minicozzi tabbed 40 rebounds and 18 steals, fourth best on the team.
Minicozzi had seven games in double digit points, posting a season high 16 against Franklin Pierce. From November 16 to December 7, Minicozzi scored double digit points in all four games the Big Green played. She scored 53 total points, averaging 13.3 points per game.
She had eight multi-assist games, including a season high five at Harvard and 19 multi-rebound games, collecting 10 against Franklin Pierce, Minicozzi's lone double-double of the season. Outside of the game against the Ravens, her most rebounds was six vs. Central Connecticut.
Through three seasons with the Big Green, Minicozzi has now played in 78 total games, averaging 24.4 minutes per game and scoring 651 total points. She has 246 rebounds and 129 assists in her career.
