Murray and Suarez Named The Richards Group Athletes of the Week

HANOVER, N.H.—Andie Murray of Dartmouth track & field and Milo Surarez of Dartmouth baseball have named The Richards Group Athletes of the Week.

Each week, DartmouthSports.com will spotlight two outstanding student-athletes – one male athlete or team, one female athlete or team– as Athletes of the Week.

Andie Murray, Sr., Allentown, N.J., Women's Track and Field

Andie Murray led the Big Green at the Battle Road Meet at MIT on Saturday, winning the 800m with a final time of 2:06.26. With her outstanding performance in Cambridge, she has earned Ivy League Athlete of the Week. Last season, Murray placed third in the 800m at the Indoor Ivy League Championships and set a 2:05.32 PR at the Outdoor Ivy League Championships, qualifying for the NCAA East First Round. Murray finished the 2024-25 outdoor season ranked 32nd regionally in the 800m.

Milo Suarez, Sr., Pinecrest, Fla., Baseball

Milo Suarez impressed at the plate this weekend, going 6-for-11 at the plate, good for a .545 batting average. The senior went 2-for-3 in game one, hitting both a solo home run and a two-run shot, finishing the game with two runs scored and three RBI. In both game two and game three. Suarez went 2-for-4 at the plate, hitting doubles in both contests to finish the weekend with six hits, four for extra bases. Suarez wraps his senior campaign with a team leading four home runs, 20 RI and 11 doubles.
