Sailing – Friday, May 15, Saturday, May 16, Sunday, May 17, Monday, May 18
The women's sailing team will kick off competition at the ICSA Women's Fleet Race National Championship this week, hosted at the University of South Florida. The Big Green last competed two weeks ago at the ICSA Women's Team Race National Championship at Tulane, earning a sixth place finish. At last year's championship, Dartmouth posted a 10th place finish. More information on how to follow this year's national championship will be available on DartmouthSports.com soon.
Women's Rowing – Saturday, May 16
The Big Green had a successful showing at the Women's Eastern Sprints on May 3 in Worcester, Mass., highlighted by three runner-up finishes in grand finals and a podium finish in the varsity eight and placing second overall in team points, behind Brown. This weekend, the women's rowing team will open its postseason at the Ivy League Championship in Pennsauken, concluding on Sunday.
Men's and Women's Track and Field - Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17
Following back-to-back weeks earning Ivy League Athlete of the Week honors, the Big Green will travel down to Princeton for the Outdoor Ivy League Championships on Saturday and Sunday at Weaver Stadium. Last season, Jada Jones became the Ivy League champion of the outdoor 200m at the event, while the Big Green had several podium finishes and conference scorers. Lightweight Rowing – Sunday, May 17
Dartmouth lightweight rowing will kick off its championship season this weekend, competing at Eastern Sprints in Worcester. The Big Green are coming off a win over Columbia two weeks ago, earning the Varsity 8 and 2V race. In last year's Eastern Sprints, the Big Green claimed silver in the varsity four and finished fifth in the varsity eight, just three seconds off a podium finish. Heavyweight Rowing – Sunday, May 17
The Big Green will race at Eastern Sprints this weekend opening their championship season after two weeks off. Heavyweight rowing is coming off an impressive regatta vs. Yale, winning its second straight Olympic Axe thanks to a win in the Varsity 8 race. The Big Green also won the 4V, 3V, and 2V races. Dartmouth finished third at last year's Eastern Sprints, finishing second overall in the Varsity 8 and taking home a medal in two additional races.
