HANOVER, N.H. – On Thursday, Dartmouth women's hockey announced its full schedule for the 2026-27 campaign. The Big Green will play 30 games this upcoming season including 17 inside Thompson Arena.
The 2026-27 season will kick off on Friday, October 16 as the Big Green open the year with a home and home vs. Saint Michael's. Dartmouth will host the Purple Knights on Friday for its home opener before traveling to South Burlington to wrap the series on Saturday, October 17.
The Big Green's home heavy front half continues on Friday, October 23 as Dartmouth opens a four game homestand with two games against Holy Cross. The two teams will play at Thompson Arena on Friday and Saturday, October 24.
The third weekend of the season will see the beginning of ECAC Hockey play, as Dartmouth hosts St. Lawrence on Friday, October 30 and Clarkson on Saturday, October 31. The Big Green played the Saints to two overtime games last year and went 1-1 against the Golden Knights, earning their first win over Clarkson since 2019.
Dartmouth will then hit the road for five straight games, including its first road conference matchups. On Friday, November 6, the Big Green will face Yale in New Haven for their first ECAC Hockey games away from Thompson Arena, as well as their first game against an Ivy League opponent. They will then wrap the weekend on Saturday, November 7 at Brown, looking to avenge a playoff loss to the Bears last season.
The road trip will continue Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14 when the Big Green travel to take on the Colgate Raiders and Cornell Big Red.
On Black Friday, Dartmouth will wrap the streak of road games at Harvard, before returning home to host the Crimson at Thompson Arena on Saturday, November 28.
The Big Green begin the month of December with a home series against Quinnipiac and Princeton. Dartmouth will face the Bobcats on Friday, December 4 and host the Tigers on Saturday, December 5.
Women's hockey will play its final games of the 2026 calendar year on Friday, December 11 and Saturday, December 12, playing a home-and-home with UVM. The Big Green will battle the Catamounts at Gutterson Field House in Burlington on Friday before wrapping the series at Thompson Arena on Saturday, beginning a seven game homestand.
After the holiday break, Dartmouth will host Maine on the first day of 2027, playing its first game against the Black Bears since 2023 on Friday, January 1. The weekend will conclude with a matchup against Saint Anselm on Saturday, January 2.
On Friday, January 8 and Saturday, January 9, the Big Green will conclude the regular season series with Cornell and Colgate at Thompson Arena. Dartmouth will face the Big Red on Friday before looking to make it two straight wins over Colgate in Hanover on Saturday. The Big Green defeated the Raiders 4-2 to open ECAC Hockey play last season, upsetting the then No. 9 nationally ranked team and winning their first game against Colgate since 2015.
The homestand will conclude the following weekend, as the Big Green face the Union Garnet Chargers and RPI Engineers for the first time in 2026-27. Dartmouth will host Union on Friday, January 15 before closing the weekend against RPI on Saturday, January 16.
Dartmouth then heads on the road for two straight weekends, first facing Princeton on Friday, January 22 and Quinnipiac on Saturday, January 23.
Following matchups with the Tigers and Bobcats, the Big Green will travel to North Country, facing Clarkson and St. Lawrence on Friday, January 29 and Saturday, January 30. Dartmouth earned the win over the Golden Knights inside Cheel Arena last season, marking their first win in the arena since 2011.
On Friday, February 5 and Saturday, February 6, Dartmouth women's hockey will play its final regular season games at Thompson Arena. The Big Green will host Brown on Friday before wrapping the regular season series with Yale on Saturday.
The 2026-27 regular season will conclude the second weekend of February as the Big Green travel to the Capital Region to take on RPI and Union. Dartmouth will battle the Engineers on Friday, February 12 and take on the Garnet Chargers on Saturday, February 13.
