Women's Basketball Welcomes Six Newcomers Ahead of 2026-27 Season.

HANOVER, N.H. – Gail Koziara Boudreaux '82 and Family Head Coach of Women's Basketball Linda Cimino has announced six additions to the Big Green roster. Five newcomers make up the class of 2030, and one transfer joins the class of 2028.
"We are thrilled to welcome six newcomers to our team for the 2026–27 season. They are a talented and passionate group who will be great additions both on and off the court" says Cimino. "We have added two players with international experience in Magda Freire Da Silva and Maya Shifrin. Magda is a transfer from Queens University who recently won the FIBA EuroBasket Championship with her home country of Portugal. Maya is an incoming first year point guard who has represented Israel on the international stage and played for Pays Voironnais Basket Club in France. Both players will be great additions to our backcourt, along with incoming first year Isabelle Cruz. Izzy is a two-way player who comes by way of Loomis Chaffee, where she helped lead her team to four NEPSAC titles. Incoming first year Anna Beischer from San Francisco adds versatility on the wing. She is a three-level scorer who puts constant pressure on opposing defenses. On the interior, Peyton Hoblock is a stretch four with outstanding court vision and scoring ability. Eve Jungman will add a strong presence in the paint and serve as a rim protector for our team. We are so excited to welcome all six student-athletes to our Big Green family!"

At Queens: Played in 54 games and made 25 starts… Averaged 5.2 points per game and 2.4 rebounds while shooting 41.0 percent from the field… Scored a career-high 21 points and seven rebounds against Western Carolina (12/14/24).
Before Dartmouth: Native of Lisbon, Portugal ... attended Escola Amélia Rey Colaço ... started for Portugal's national team at the 2025 FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup ... also represented Portugal at the FIBA U18 Women's EuroBasket Championship and the FIBA 3x3 Europe Cup Qualifiers.
