HANOVER, N.H. – Dartmouth women's soccer goalkeeper
Ola Goebel was named Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the Ivy League on Monday, Sept. 14, 2026. This is the second-straight Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week for Goebel, after earning the recognition last week.
Ola Goebel had an impressive week for Dartmouth, in which she had two shutouts, alongside two team victories and extended her shutout streak to three games in a row. In a 1-0 victory, Goebel recorded a save and had a clean sheet in a tough battle against the Crusaders. Against Colgate, she had three saves and a clean sheet in a 2-0 victory against the Raiders.
In NCAA Division I, Goebel is ranked in the top 10 for shutouts, with five and ranked in the top 20 for save percentage with 90.9%. In the Ivy League, Goebel leads the league in goals against average (0.38), shutouts per game (five), saves (90.9%) and saves per game (3.75).
