Bio
Before Dartmouth
Erin McCarthy-Keeler grew up in Anchorage Alaska, and attended Service High School, where she competed on the Cross-Country running team for two years. Outside of athletics, she was the junior representative of the Alaska State Horseshow board.  Â
Personal
Erin is the daughter of Molly and Kevin, and has one younger sister who also rides horses. While Erin is undecided about what she will major in, she is interested in Government and Psychology. Â
How long have you been riding and what got you interested in riding?
I have been riding for several years. As a young girl, I always loved horses and would attend pony camps, but I was not able to really start riding and training until I was older. Since then, I have fallen in love with the sport.
What other activities are you involved with outside of Equestrian?
I am a part of the Global Issues Scholars program, and the Dartmouth chapter of She's The First. I also enjoy doing things outdoors, like hiking and camping, and am looking forward to exploring the beautiful wilderness around campus.
