At a time when some would suggest that the phrase "student-athlete" is an oxymoron, Dartmouth continues to demonstrate that excellence in academics and excellence in athletics are not mutually exclusive.
In an environment that encourages a well-rounded interest in many activities--from music and art to student government and volunteer service--more than 75 percent of Dartmouth's 4,300 undergraduates participate in intercollegiate (the College has 34 varsity teams) and club sports, intramural athletics, physical education and fitness programs, and, through the Dartmouth Outing Club, a range of outdoor recreational activities.Interested in playing for the Big Green?
If you're a top student-athlete interested in playing basketball for Dartmouth, here's a quick checklist of things you need to do:
Complete a CSS Profile: The College Scholarship Service (CSS) is the financial aid division of the College Board. Many colleges, universities, and scholarship programs (including Dartmouth) use the information collected on PROFILE to help them award nonfederal student aid funds.
