Photography Credentials
Daily and student newspapers, wire services and team photographers may request to be included on the gate list. Photographers are allowed to shoot on the field between innings, but must be outside of the field of action when the ball is live.
Parking
Media can safely park in the Berry Lot just north of Biondi Park, or the Leverone Lot just south of the field.
Radio Lines
The Varsity Athletics Communications Office has a line available to visiting radio stations on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact the office at 603-646-2468 directly. For installation of additional lines, contact the Varsity Athletics Communications Office at least six weeks in advance.
Press Box Service
Stat monitors will be utilized throughout the press box during the game, and a complete box score and play-by-play will be available at the conclusion of the game.
Postgame Interviews
Coaches will be available for comments 10 minutes after the game on the field or in the lobby of the Floren Varsity House.
Dartmouth Broadcasts
All Dartmouth home baseball games will be have both video and audio streams available on Dartmouth’s official athletics web site, www.DartmouthSports.com. Subscribers to Big Green Insider
will have access to exclusive video content, including games live and
on-demand, while the audio and certain video content (interviews,
highlights) are available free to the public. In addition, select road and postseason games will have an audio broadcast available online. Simply click on “Live Video” or “Live Audio” on the home page to find the listing of streamed events.
Returning to the microphone is Wayne Young, who called the action each of the last two years during Dartmouth’s Ivy League title runs. He also provides analysis for the Big Green football broadcasts in the fall.
Young is a 1972 graduate of Dartmouth and was a catcher on the 1970 baseball team that advanced to the College World Series. A two-sport athlete, he also was a linebacker on three Ivy League championship Big Green squads from 1969-71 that went 25-2 in those seasons, earning first-team All-Ivy honors as a senior captain. Young is a member of Wearers of the Green for having earned the Alfred E. Watson Trophy as Dartmouth’s top male athlete in 1971-72.
