The team has qualified for the NCAA championships on 13 occasions, the most in Ivy League history. (1988, 1989, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 2001, 2013, 2014, 2017, 2018). The 1996 (5th) and 1997 (4th) squads each finished in the top five at the NCAA meet.
In 2013, senior Abbey D'Agostino '14 became the first Ivy League student-athlete ever on either the men's or women's side to claim an individual NCAA Cross Country National Championship. It was her then-record-setting fifth individual national title, the most ever by an Ivy League athlete.
