Nine Big Green women's hockey players have competed in the Winter Olympic Games, making 14 Olympic appearances in all. Five Dartmouth players have represented the United States, while three have competed for Canada and one represented Switzerland.Â
Since the 1998 Olympics, the first year that featured women in ice hockey competition, at least one former Dartmouth player has made an appearance.Â
In addition, former head coach Laura Schuler has been on both sides of the bench, playing in the 1998 Olympics in Nagano, Japan, and coaching the Canadian team at the 2018 Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea.
