NCAA RULES STATE:
Â
A student-athlete or the entire team in a varsity sport may receive an occasional meal on infrequent and special occasions from a representative of athletics interests (e.g., booster), along with reasonable local transportation to attend such meals under the following conditions:
- LOCATION: The meal may only be provided in the booster’s home in the locale of Dartmouth College or on Dartmouth’s campus in an Athletics Facility (e.g., Floren, Leverone Field House, Memorial Field, etc.). The meal may be catered in either of these locations, but may not take place at any other location (e.g., restaurant, home in another city/location);

TRANSPORTATION: The booster may provide reasonable local transportation to the student-athlete(s) to attend the meal provided it is in the form of public transit or as a passenger (as opposed to lending a vehicle for the student-athlete’s use, which is prohibited). Additionally, an institutional staff member (e.g., coach, administrator, etc.) may drive the student-athlete(s) to attend the meal as well; and

PROCESS: The occasional meal must be requested through the proper form (below) and approved by Dartmouth Athletics prior to taking place.

Additionally, please be aware that even an approved occasional meal in which a representative of athletics interests is in attendance may NOT involve recruits, regardless if they are on a recruiting visit to Dartmouth or not.
