Freshman (2014-15): Participated in six events and 13 rounds as a freshman … Shot an average stroke of 76 … Tied for third in his performance of the season at the Cornell Invitational (9/20-21), where he shot a 220 …Shot in the 70's in 12 of the 13 rounds he competed in.Â
Before Dartmouth: Was on the golf team all four years in addition to playing basketball and baseball at Deerfield High School...Was captain of the golf team his last three years...led his team to the IHSA 3A Sectional Championship and was personally awarded the IHSA 3A Golf State Champion his sophomore year...made First-Team All-State his junior and senior year...
Personal: Kelsey is the son of John and Heekyoung...has one sister...has an uncle who is a member of the Dartmouth class of '90...was an AP Scholar and awarded HP Scholastic All-American Honor Roll.
