Honorable mention All-Ivy honoree … finished fourth in the Ivy League (second on the Big Green) with 5.5 sacks, despite missing the entire second half of the season with an injury … finished with 19 tackles (13 solo) in five games, including 6.5 tackles for loss … also had a forced fumble and fumble recovery … opened the season with 10 tackles (six solo) and a sack at No. 11 New Hampshire … had one tackle and half a sack in the home-opening win over Lehigh … tallied four solo tackles, two sacks, a fumble recovery and quarterback hurry in Ivy League opening victory at Penn … had two sacks for a second straight week, while adding four tackles (two for loss) and a forced fumble against Yale.
SOPHOMORE (2022)
Earned a place on the College Spots Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District I Team … chosen as the team’s recipient of the Doten Award, given to the sophomore who made a significant contribution to the success of the team … second on the squad with 3.0 sacks and third with 6.5 tackles for a loss among his 32 stops on the season … came off the bench for the first half of the year, posting four tackles in the season-opening, 35-13 victory over Valparaiso … collected first career sack the following week at Sacred Heart … broke up a pass and had a tackle for a 7-yard loss after a blocked field goal attempt against New Hampshire … started at Columbia to fill in for the injured starter and contributed a team-high 10 tackles in the 27-24 triumph … started again the following week and pitched in six more stops versus Harvard … came up bit in the season finale against Brown, wrapping up six Bears with two sacks for a total loss of 11 yards and another TFL for 4 more to his credit.

HIGH SCHOOL
Collected 26 tackles, four sacks and two INT this spring, helping his team post a 6-0 record and win the 8A State Championship … added 25 pounds heading into his senior year that helped him earn first-team All-Chicago Catholic League honors … grew as a player after earning first start in the third week of his junior year … served as the long snapper as a sophomore for the state champions as well … Dayton and Butler of the Pioneer League both offered him … also a talented baseball player … National Honor Society.

Full name is Braden Wynne Mullen … born on March 29, 2003 in Evanston, Illinois, to John and LIsa Mullen … one of four brothers … father played football and mother golf, both at Dayton, in the early ’90s … grandfather Jim Wochner earned three letters for the St. Louis University baseball team … desires to major in engineering and participate in the study abroad program.
