NFF Hampshire Honor Society … robbed of his senior campaign due to an injury. Preseason honor: College Sports Madness Preseason All-Ivy League Second Team at tight end.
JUNIOR (2016) | Game-by-Game Stats
Hauled in 12 passes, tying for the team lead among tight ends, while his 113 receiving yards led the position … missed the season opener, but played in each of the final nine contests … first catch of the season was a 10-yard touchdown at Holy Cross to finish the scoring in the 35-10 road victory … snared two tosses in each of the next three games … one of his two grabs at Cornell led to the first of the two fourth-quarter touchdowns in the 17-13 comeback triumph … hauled in an eight-yard touchdown pass in the season finale at Princeton, giving the Big Green a 14-7 lead … finished the game against the Tigers with a season-high three receptions.

Recipient of the team’s Jake Crouthamel Award as the junior or sophomore offensive player that contributed the most to the success of the team … established himself as the primary receiving tight end, hauling in 11 passes for 97 yards and tying for the team lead with four touchdown catches … first career reception went for a modest seven yards in the 49-7 win over Sacred Heart … impressed the homecoming crowd with two touchdowns among his season-high three grabs against Yale, the first an eight-yarder to start the scoring and the second from four yards out as Dartmouth rolled the Bulldogs, 35-3 … duplicated his scoring feats the following week with TD catches of eight and three yards in the 34-7 road win at Central Connecticut State … registered a season-best 31 yards on two receptions, with a long of 18, in the 13-9 victory over Columbia.

Spent the season developing with the junior varsity squad, though injuries slowed him.

All-district first team pick on offense, defense and “utility” … captained football and baseball teams as a senior … helped football team to conference title as a senior and district titles the previous two years … all-district pick in baseball, and as a sophomore made an all-tournament team.
PERSONAL
Born on Sept. 29, 1995 … son of Dave and Jen has a brother and sister … father was a 1,000-point scorer playing four years of basketball at George Mason and averaged 20.1 points as a senior before going overseas and playing professionally in Europe … grandfather, Frank Skaff, was a Villanova grad who saw time with the 1935 Brooklyn Dodgers and 1943 Philadelphia Athletics, and in 1966 served as interim manager of the Detroit Tigers … hobbies include auto mechanics … leaning toward majoring in economics or engineering.
