Curt Oberg played with Buddy Teevens on the Big Green varsity for two seasons, serving as the team captain during his senior year in 1977. A first-team All-Ivy League running back that year, Oberg led Dartmouth with 620 rushing yards and five touchdowns, plus caught 10 passes for 78 yards.

Oberg provides support during practices, which includes running the MVP tackling dummies. He also oversees the alumni initiative, Dartmouth Football Connect, giving football student-athletes and mentors an opportunity to engage with each other using career connections as the center of their relationship.
