Honorable mention All-Ivy honoree … finished with 55 tackles (36 solo), five for a loss, one sack and one interception in eight games … 55 tackles were tied for second on the Big Green … opened season with four tackles at No. 11 New Hampshire … recorded three tackles in the home opening win over Lehigh … posted seven tackles, five solo, in the Ivy League opening victory at Penn … tallied three solo tackles against Yale … posted a career-high 12 tackles (11 solo) at Colgate … after missing two weeks, returned by tallying nine tackles against Princeton … had five tackles vs. Cornell … tied career-high 12 tackles (five solo) in season finale at Brown, as the Big Green clinched a share of the Ivy League title ... named to the NFF Hampshire Honor Society for success in the classroom.
JUNIOR (2022)
Earned a spot on the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District I Team … took the field in every game, contributing at least one tackle in eight of the 10 contests and 22 stops overall … came up with a season-high five tackles in the overtime loss at Sacred Heart, and again the following week in the double-overtime defeat versus Penn … came up with third-down stops against the Quakers and New Hampshire that forced punts … pitched in on a third-down sack in the red zone at Princeton to help deny the Tigers any points on the drive, then recorded his first solo sack on a third-down play at Cornell the very next week, leading to a Big Red punt … closed out the year with four tackles, three solo, with a quarterback hurry on third down in the 30-7 victory over Brown.
SOPHOMORE (2021)
Saw action in three games … first career tackle came on third down to force a Sacred Heart punt during the 41-3 victory … helped out on two more tackles in the 41-7 win over Cornell … also got on the field in the 52-31, title-clinching triumph at Brown.
FIRST-YEAR (2020)
Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
HIGH SCHOOL
Threw for 25 TDs and ran for 897 yards as a senior QB but comes in as a linebacker after making 48 tackles with three interceptions … his offers included Harvard, Cornell, Illinois State, Eastern Illinois and North Dakota State.

Full name is Daniel John Cronin … born on Dec. 7, 2001 in Elmhurst, Illinois … son of Dan and Juli Cronin has three sisters, one of whom (Grace) was on the track team at Notre Dame … father swam at Northwestern and grandfather, Richard Cronin, played football against Dartmouth in 1944 and ’45 while at Notre Dame, starting the latter contest … offers included Harvard, Cornell, Illinois State, Eastern Illinois and North Dakota State … enjoys spending time with family and friends … must like hiking as well as he has hiked to the summit of Pike's Peak in 10 hours.
