Co-captain, just the 13th player in program history to serve in that role more than once … named the Ivy League Defensive Player of the Year by the league’s coaches (the Bushnell Cup) as well as by Phil Steele … All-New England Division I Team for the third straight year … unanimous All-Ivy League First Team linebacker for the third straight year … selected as a semifinalist for the Campbell Trophy, known as the academic Heisman … chosen for the CoSIDA Academic All-District I Team, FCS ADA Academic All-Star Team, the Academic All-Ivy League Fall Team and the NFF Hampshire Honor Society … led the team and ranked third in the Ivy League with 75 tackles … tied for the league lead with two fumble recoveries, one he returned for a touchdown … also had a pick-six among his two interceptions … led all Ivy players with 93 interception return yards … had 10 or more stops in three contests … led the team in tackles in each of the final games of the season … posted eight stops, one for a loss, and two on second-and-goals to help stop Colgate from reaching the end zone in both instances during the 38-3 thumping of the Raiders … provided 10 tackles in the Ivy League opener at Penn, but his biggest play was scooping up a fumble and rumbling 17 yards for a touchdown and a 14-0 lead in the first quarter en route to a 28-15 triumph … also had a tackle for a loss on third down at the start of the second half to set the tone and force a punt helping him earn Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week honors … helped on a third-down sack in the 42-10 homecoming rout of Yale … picked off two passes at Marist, returning the first 55 yards for a touchdown and the second 38 yards as the Big Green cruised to a 49-7 win … picked up his Ivy Defensive Player of the Week award following the win over the Red Foxes … posted nine tackles and recovered a fumble at the start of the second half as Dartmouth rolled to a 59-24 triumph over Columbia … had a season-high 13 stops — two that went for a loss in third-down situations that forced a punt — to lead the Green in the defensive struggle at Harvard … his last tackle was during the goal-line stand against the Crimson that allowed Dartmouth to get the ball back with a minute left and cover 96 yards to win on a last-second Hail Mary for a 9-6 victory … always at his best on the biggest stages, once again led the team with 10 tackles in the 27-10 triumph at Yankee Stadium over ninth-ranked Princeton … tied for the team lead in tackles against Cornell with seven … ended career with team-high nine stops at Brown, one on a third-and-goal play to force the Bears to settle for a field goal in the title-clinching, 29-23 victory.

Tri-captain … All-New England Division I Team again … unanimous All-Ivy League First Team linebacker for the second straight year … FCS ADA Academic All-Star once again … Academic All-Ivy League for the second time … winner of the athletics department’s Kenneth Archibald Prize as the member of the senior class who has been four years in attendance, who has been the best all-around athlete, regard also being had to moral worth and high standing in scholarship … earned the Big Green’s Coach Bob Blackman Trophy as the player who has contributed most to the success of the team … second on the team with 56 tackles despite missing the final two contests and led the squad in four of his eight games … among the top 10 in the Ivy League in tackles per game (7.0, 8th) and tackles for a loss per game (0.81, 10th) … led the Big Green with five stops — three of which were assists behind the line of scrimmage — in the 41-0 shutout of Georgetown to start the season … topped the team in tackles again the following week with nine (2.0 going for a loss) in a 34-14 victory at Holy Cross … posted a team-best nine stops at Yale in a 41-18 Dartmouth win … brought down six Lions, the last of which went for a loss on third down in Dartmouth territory that set up an interception on the next play as the Green knocked off Columbia, 28-12 … most impactful games came in his final two outings, starting with four stops in the 24-17 win over Harvard that included a third-down pass breakup to force a punt, two tackles for a 1-yard loss, and recovering one fumble and forcing another on consecutive Crimson possessions … was everywhere on the field at nationally ranked Princeton with a season-high 14 tackles, but suffered an injury late in the game that ended his season early.

Young Award as the top defensive player among the underclassmen … second in the Ivy League with 98 tackles, averaged exactly 10 per game in conference play … tied for the team lead with 5.0 tackles for a loss … filled up the stat sheet with a sack, interception and forced fumble to go with four pass breakups … started all 10 games, collecting at least five tackles in every contest … hit double digits in tackles on five occasions with a career-high 17 against Harvard … had the most stops in five games as well … tied for the team lead with 11 tackles against Holy Cross while registering his first career sack … picked up Ivy League Defensive Player of the Week honors the next week in the conference opener at Penn, topping the Green with nine stops (eight solo) with one going for a loss, plus broke up a pass to lead a defense that held a vaunted Quaker offense to just 243 yards in the 16-13 win … had a team-best 10 tackles and helped out on a TFL in the 28-27 win over Yale … brought down a dozen Pioneers, but biggest contribution was his first career interception to end Sacred Heart’s final possession, securing the 29-26 victory … forced a fumble in the red zone versus Columbia … dropped a Cornell ball carrier for a seven-yard loss among his seven stops in the 10-0 triumph … ended the season with a team-high 14 tackles with an assisted TFL to help subdue Princeton in a wild 54-44 win.
SOPHOMORE (2016) | Game-by-Game Stats
Played in each of the first eight games with a starting nod against Harvard before missing the final two … collected at least two tackles in each of those eight contests, and at least five in the last six … first two collegiate tackles stopped a New Hampshire runner shy of the marker on third down, forcing punts as Dartmouth beat the 22nd-ranked Wildcat for the first time in 40 years, 22-21 … made five tackles against Penn and six more at Yale … best game came against Towson with a season-high seven stops to go with two pass breakups, the second of which denied the Tigers a touchdown with a little more than two minutes to play … that forced them to attempt a 22-yard field goal, which was blocked, allowing the Big Green to hold on for a 20-17 victory … halted six Columbia ball carriers the following week … matched his season high with seven stops in his start against Harvard … his season ended with five tackles in the 17-13 win over Cornell.
