SENIOR (2022)
Tri-captain was named to the Division I All-New England Team as well as the All-Ivy League Second Team as a defensive back … recipient of the team’s Coach Bob Blackman Award as the team MVP … started all 10 games at free safety … third on the team and 12th in the league with 53 tackles, two of which went for a loss … also had an interception, a forced fumble and was second on the squad with three pass breakups … posted a career-high 10 tackles in the overtime defeat at Sacred Heart, then matched that total two weeks later at Yale … broke up a pass on fourth down in the fourth quarter of the season-opening, 35-13 victory over Valparaiso, essentially sealing the Beacons’ fate … one of five solo tackles went for a loss versus Penn, coming on a 3rd-and-2 play to force the Quakers to punt … recorded another TFL on fourth down the next week at Yale among his 10 stops … pass breakup in the red zone on third down in the first quarter at Columbia left the Lions with only a field goal in a three-point road win … picked off a Harvard pass for his third career interception … broke up a would-be touchdown toss at Princeton on third down to force the Tigers to settle for a field goal in the final seconds before halftime … made a tackle on 3rd-and-6 at Cornell to force a Big Red punt.
JUNIOR (2021)
Recipient of the team’s Kenneth T. Young Award as the defensive underclassman who contributed most to the success of the team … started all 10 games at free safety on a defense that was fourth nationally in passing yards allowed and fifth in total defense … had a career-high six tackles, four solo, in the 24-17 overtime win over Yale … added four stops to his ledger along with an interception in the 20-17 win at No. 21 Harvard … broke up a pass against Cornell … pitched in three tackles in the win over #16 Princeton and again in the Ivy title-clinching finale at Brown.
SOPHOMORE (2020)
Season canceled due to COVID-19 pandemic.
FRESHMAN (2019)
One of three rookies to appear in all 10 varsity games but only one to start a game … eight of his 11 tackles came on special teams coverages … first career stop came during the final Colgate drive in the 38-3 victory … made the most of his start on homecoming against Yale, collecting his first interception and returning it 13 yards to set up Dartmouth’s third touchdown in the 42-10 blowout win … also broke up a fourth-down pass to give the ball back to the Big Green and had two solo stops … collected a pair of tackles in each of the following two games as well.
HIGH SCHOOL
Two-time Missouri Class 5 all-state first team … academic all-state … Suburban Red’s Defensive Player of the Year … posted 69 tackles (49 solo), three for a loss, seven interceptions, six breakups, one sack and a blocked punt as a senior captain … team was 14-0 as a junior and 9-3 the next fall … named an 810 Varsity Elite 81 award winner and All-Simone (K.C. Metro) Team as selected by PrepsKC … center fielder helped baseball team to a 27-7 record and fourth place in the state, earning all-state honorable mention … National Honor Society … Junior Assembly … graduation speaker.

Full name is Quinten Michael Arello … born on Jan. 21, 2001 in Kansas City, Missouri … son of Salvatore and Stacee has one sister … enjoys skiing, boating and fishing … chose Dartmouth over Yale and preferred walk-on status at Northwestern.
